Funding

As an employee at ENVS, you can receive support, counseling, advice, and help with applications for research funds, consulting projects (rådgivning) and funding calls.

Funding opportunities

In addition to funding opportunities circulated within the department and your own networks, the Researchprofessional database can be a useful resource, and contains many financing options, searchable using relevant keywords.

When considering applying to a funding source, you must bear in mind the department rules on OH and cost recovery – read more about this here.

Research Support Office

Information about current and upcoming funding calls come from the central Research Support Office (RSO), which we distribute via the Scientific Coordinator (videnskabelig koodinator) inbox. The RSO also periodically update a spreadsheet containing an overview of the year’s most significant funding calls; The most up to date version of the spreadsheet can be downloaded here.

You can read more about what services are offered by the RSO and contact members of the team according to your needs using the information on the intranet.

In-house support

Certain calls have been selected for additional support through the Research Committee, which includes an allocated internal reviewer, and for some calls, a pitching process to help fine-tune your proposed idea for the call, and get valuable feedback from the panel. Details about which calls are part of this process can be found here:

If you would like more language- and style-focused support for your application to help you structure and write a clearly expressed, convincing, and exciting application, please contact Branwen Messamah (brm@envs.au.dk), our ENVS-based Research and Communications Officer. Support is subject to availability and must be budgeted for from a project, so it is best to start planning for this as early as possible.
